Hi, my name is
BO(LEON) HE
Software Engineer · Distributed Systems
I'm a CS master's student at Northeastern University in Seattle, focused on building reliable, scalable systems end to end. My work spans high-concurrency backend services, ML-powered products, and Extended Reality (XR), and I enjoy turning ambiguous problems into clean architectures that hold up in production. M.S. in Computer Science candidate at Northeastern University, graduating December 2026, with experience building scalable backend systems, ML-driven products, and XR applications. I enjoy solving complex engineering challenges, designing resilient architectures, and delivering production-ready solutions that balance performance, reliability, and maintainability. Currently seeking New Graduate Software Engineer opportunities to apply my skills in distributed systems, backend engineering, and full-stack product development.

About
I gravitate toward the parts of software that decide whether a product holds up — clean data models, well-drawn service boundaries, performance, and the tests that keep it honest. I like going deep on a problem, shipping something real, then sharpening it. Most of my work lives in backend and distributed systems, and I care about code that stays simple as it scales. If you're building something that has to be reliable under load, I'd love to connect.
